i’m on his side because cirrus being insecure af was outwardly jealous bc skylar was talking to chan-il, cirrus also disregarded the boundary skylar set by proclaiming his love out loud where they could’ve been caught, he also just HAD TO bring up skylar’s trauma (granted he doesn’t know how grave it was but that still doesn’t give him the right to bring it up that way). beside’s he threw something that hit skylar on purpose just because of that same insecurity/jealousy.

To be fair Skylar also triggered his trauma when he beat Cirrus and Cirrus remembered his father beating him. Both are in the wrong.
Skylar knew he was abused iirc and as for Cirrus I doubt he knew his trauma but of course in the end both are wrong. But they make up quick so whateves I just wanna see my two babies happy

for sure they both need immense help and they’re both wrong in the way they approach these issues. my main ‘point’ was just that skylar had a right to be annoyed. i imagined myself in both of their positions; cirrus throwing the thing, bringing up skylar’s trauma and shouting that he loves skylar out in the open despite him (skylar) talking him not to be public was just lame behavior. skylar on the other hand got visibly upset (albeit reacted immaturely) which i might have done in his position because i just can’t forget how cirrus treated him since the beginning

I’m not saying Skylar had no right to be emotional. He didn’t have the right to beat anyone, especially when he knew that someone was abused physically and mentally. He has a violence problem and should get that worked out. Both of them are in the wrong.
I don’t remember Skylar telling Cirrus about the “outing” incident so I doubt Cirrus realizes, but when he does, and Skylar opens up, I hope he apologizes.
Skylar forgave him for the past so the past is irrelevant. And Cirrus had apologized prior, he was actually remorseful. We don’t see MLs that apologize that much tbh.

The difference is: Skylar knew he was abused. Cirrus didn’t know about Skylar’s trauma.
Imagine your partner knew you were abused and that’s also why you’re mentally like this, then they resort to beating you till you BLEED. Both have done wrong. Cirrus provoked him and his insecurity for the best of him, Skylar resorted to violence and poor word choices.

cirrus has also been invalidated? how do you manage to put the whole blame on cirrus? his only mistake was blocking chan-il from skylar's phone. skylar has also wronged cirrus and invalidated his feelings, didn't treat him like he loved him, didn't reassure him when cirrus asked for reassurance in the relationship, was blushing with his ex-crush when cirrus saw him, was avoiding cirrus a lot in school and outside. that's why skylar and cirrus are both wrong. each one triggered the other's trauma without knowing.

or my bad, skylar knew about cirrus's traumas and still triggered him, which is why people will not defend skylar bc he knew about cirrus's abuse and family life and still became violent towards him. cirrus at least never knew about minwoo or the details of what skylar went through, that's why he didn't know it would cause such a reaction from skylar. they both did this to each other that caused this huge fight.

on him not invalidating cirrus because i know they’re both wrong almost all the time. my point was that i could understand skylar’s reaction especially since i can’t forget how cirrus treated him in the beginning. sure cirrus clearly has trauma but that doesn’t give someone the right to be a bully/asshole.

i agree with what you're saying i was just confused bc you said you support the violence that skylar did and are on his side, which it's fine to choose skylar's side and also not support how he beat cirrus up. and tbh, i think in this season is where they're growing and if skylar had somehow forgiven cirrus for what he did to him in the past then it's unfair to use cirrus's past actions as a reason to beat him if skylar did forgive him yk

same could be said for both of them. besides i already said this in an earlier comment in this thread ‘ i agree with you. i think i’m just a bit heated because i know people like cirrus that annoys the shit out of me because they act really similar. i know that they are teens but i don’t think i would be in a relationship with cirrus (or skylar even) before he ‘heals’’
Tbh I'm fully on Skylar's side
