someone please explain chapter 29 ,after the lightening enya is dead? huh

Where we left Enya, she was attacked and then pushed down somewhere. Tarhan is running to find her, so ch 27 28 29 is him thinking abt their relationship. he gets to the village (end of ch 29) and they had staged her burial (a pile of rocks and her bloody braid). he's convinced they didn't kill her. her (alleged) death would be from the villagers beating.
