He claims that his hands are tied because this is the king’s doing, but is more than happy to take advantage of the situation by dangling little bits of freedom to move Baekwoo closer to being his ideal crown princess. If he was truly sorry about the situation, he would be bending over backwards trying to help mc keep a normal life and reduce the stress

No amount of love for any dude or anyone would ever make me give away my freedom...I srsly would just run away or kill myself...You are rich,so what? And have a man tell you make me a baby and that is it? Like imagine how stupid that is with today s society. Ppl wanna love,wanna go to school,wanna hang out with friends,wanna be free to choose to have a family with whom they love,but for my dude here everything is decided...Shame on his mum for not telling him.
