Keep in mind this is the country that allowed a grown man to date an elementary school girl in a tv show for kids because they believe wish fulfillment for fans trumps being ethical. That show? That is SO dangerous and just sets kids up to get groomed and not be able to tell it’s weird if their teacher comes on to them. Especially if the kid likes their teacher.

They’re drawn to look like kids for people that like shota, like the author. These books would be wrapped in plastic and put in places kids can’t access them where sold in Japan. Just know when Japanese artists include weird stuff, it’s not innocent.
