I like Ribe more than MC

I am I the only one who actually likes how Ribe is written?? The MC was being a total dick head to her and cannot wrap his head around the fact that people are taking the game so seriously bc people's lives are on the line even though its technically a game. I find the MC way more annoying than Ribe but people keep commenting how they dislike Ribe. Why??? Even if she is flawed, she is a complex character. And, she wasn't even rude to MC. MC was the one constantly picking fights with her. Even the shark guy points it out. I found it refreshing that the author allowed the side characters to be explored so deeply so it doesn't feel like the world revolves around mc like in other stories.
