Take in mind. Morality is a human concept and it's so abstract in it's nature that it changes easily based on culture and time. We used to burn women alive just for showing their ankles a few centuries ago. That being said...
Rather than the prostitution/Porn industry as a big whole, I was refering more to single Individuals who out of their own choices do enjoy doing casual sex work or making sexual content (cough *onlyfans* cough cough). Saying "willingly" being a sex worker is gross in it's self is disrespectful to that specific person or even to other people who may not enjoy doing sex work but had to resort to it anyway. The industry and society might be disgusting I don't deny that. But THEY are not. They're just people. Some of them, just trying to survive. But the world has decided to brand them as outcasts just based on that. And even IF it was the person who is doing it willingly and freely because they enjoy it, There's still nothing wrong with that. It's their choice.
It's practically basing someone's worth as person solely around their sexual history.
~ye old slut shaming~. ("hips don't lie" by shakira bardcore versions plays)
Also Funny enough, Prostitution and pornography have been around for thousands of years. Objectification is not really a recent problem.
It's not their fault that society sucks. We can thank centuries of religion, the patriarchy and misoginy for that.
i wont ever respect sex workers because i personally find it icky and immoral. morality is a human concept yes but we need it . without morality anything illegal can be good but it doesnt work that way. morality is important for us to function as a society. i wont ever respect only fans models or sex workers
"haru has too much sex"
bro he's a sex worker??? it's been established since the first chapter??? ya'll are acting like he cheated when they weren't even together and it's his LITERAL JOB
"he has better chemistry with his other clients"
not really? his vibe just changed slightly to fit each costumer's personalities yet still keeping his "gentle and loving" demeanoure
lot's of people will vibe differently depending on the person they're with
"they feel bland together"
It's a short form story so obviously there won't be much time to flesh out their whole relationship but to me rather than feeling bland perse it was more like both haru and hiroki felt relaxed and comfortable around each other and even haru expresses later on that he felt genuine joy when he could make hiro happy and comfortable
though I fully understand why you would find it bland
me personally I loved it
