Controversial thing

Those People who are too sensitive about the age gap actually secretly enjoy reading those things. Either they're still on denial or something. I've seen this before lmao. Feel free to give me a thumbs down but I've seen far too many people who are "too bothered" by something and end up having such the same dirty secret

There's a major flaw in your logic, people can get bothered by it for many reasons, such as trauma. It's not black or white. If you don't find this problematic yourself, then simply ignore these comments. The fact that you felt the need to make such comment indicates that deep down this bothers you. You feel guilty and the comments affect you, so you try really hard to pull an uno reverse card lol

If they find this manhwa proble themselves and it triggers their trauma it makes more sense that they ignore this manhwa as it's triggering their trauma. But the more they put themselves in this manhwa going back and forth with the comments. The more it says in their reaction that they actually want to know more of this. Unless their masochists? A traumatized person would religiously avoid traumatic triggers. But a person who has a subconscious preference of this would totally try to say it's "wrong" or make this thing a "bigger" issue. More likely because they knew it's wrong yet they can't help but to be curious, and they hate themselves that they want to know more so they're projecting it through that. Or they're just a person who enjoys it but is in denial lmao. Either way it doesn't matter much since it's just a drawing not real life.. *shrugs*

Or they get triggered due to their trauma and they try to explain because they got a response to their comment (people can feel the need to express what they hate because they got triggered, that's how anxiety often works). Not everyone has the strength to just walk away from what triggered them and not try in some way to get their perspective seen.

Or they feel hatred towards people who enjoy this because they find it outrageous the thing they find disgusting exists, and therefore try to change the different opinions and make people see their pov. There are genuinely plenty of reasons because as i said, people aren't only black or white.

People are emotional, contradictive creatures, they often want to be heard, understood and change others, no matter how unproductive it can be.

Just like how you felt the need to make the accusation since the negative comments affected you.

Ah forgot to mention a third, even more simple reason. They may just want to have the last word in the comments lol

Damn, sorry for the many messages, can't seem to put my thoughts in order so i can put them in a single message lol
Anyway, I'm not saying that the thing you mentioned is impossible for some cases, I'm just saying that it's a strong accusation towards people that have strong traumatic reactions towards certain themes and become vocal about it. It's not an one way road, plenty of people get stuck to their trigger as a compulsion because their brain feels the need to 'resolve' it, instead of avoiding it to feel better, no matter how self destructive it is.

Actually it wasn't an accusation but a fact...it's been proven psychologically that people "cope" with trauma and react like this to stimulate something inside their mind. It's a messed up thing. They hate it because it's wrong but subconsciously they're looking for it. Thus = the birth of people who hates this kind of webtoon but still read them / coping traumatized hypocrites. Like i said if they hate it they would be avoiding it the moment they saw this. One thing you're right about is yes i am affected. I find their comments laughable since you could see the subconscious element they themselves don't even realize they do... *shrugs*

"It's not an accusation" proceeds to accuse lmao

No, it's a possibility for some of the people but it doesn't serve as a fact because people aren't hive mind and you have no way of being in the mind of every single person making these type of comments. People who hate something can keep on being involved due to their compulsive nature or plenty of other reasons depending on the individual and their situation. It's not 'one answer fits all'. You really need to learn that psychology doesn't only 'prove' psychological phenomenons to place them as the answer in every case. That's not how it works, because we're dealing with humans, not a math problem.

Also being so confident over what other people think and why they react a certain way, without actually knowing the said people is a very common cognitive distortion. And you calling them a hypocrites is highly ironic.
