Probably not. Most mangaka don't get to arbitrarily write/draw stories as they please. They are given a basic premise by their editors who have, in turn, received that premise and preference from reader surveys. This mangaka has, just on this site, 132 stories (22 manga/takoubon @ 6 chapters each - each chapter is published monthly in a magazine) which is just over 2 years worth of work. So, for about 2 years, readers were into the idea of ravishment between characters. Ravishment is a common fantasy, particularly among women and more particularly among Asian women.Their culture has always been reserved, where excessive expression of emotion or desire is deeply suppressed. This is also why the tsundere personality is also so popular for characters, particularly uke/female characters. This is a perfect expression of a character who is reserved in daily life, but a temptress in bed - a lady in the street, but a freak in the sheets. So, the idea that a lover could be so overcome with desire for their partner that they lose all reservation and "can't hold back anymore" (how often are those words written in a manga?), is an extremely alluring fantasy. Their fantasy has nothing to do with the crime of rape. It is a fantasy about having a lover so overcome with desire that they lose their rationale and reservation. That fantasy is expressed to editors through surveys, passed on to mangaka and written/drawn for the reading audience. If you want to complain, complain that readers of this genre asked for this kind of story because that is the general flow of how manga making works.
Does this author have some type of rape complex??? Like, really?(⊙…⊙ )
