That is why Rose wanted her gone. Lily also sneaked out during the night and lied to Anna about it to visit Rose in her bedchamber. Lily is presented as a character who lacks agency, but the first and only real decision she makes during the story is sneaking out to visit Rose. This character was so ready to cheat, it wasn’t even subtle. So, think of the story as porn and just enjoy the porn. Its NTR though. So, not so easy to enjoy that part.
