Hm... I can't say I disagree.. but I also can't say I agree... don't hate me, I'll explain...
Yeah... In action those girls are shown as fake, bishes, power hungry and all insults hurled... and the "slap in the face" of a woman that disliked og for being weak and liking them whe they become "cool and strong"... romance have the same premise on it... the "cheating partner" that try to get back and is trown away for being trash. To readers they are annoying and seeing them get recked is noice... I totally agree with that.
But there's the other pov... that these women start to like mc exactly because they are the MC and not the OG. The name and body might be the same, but it's actually someone else in that body... someone that's strong, brave, intelligent, cool and everything OG wasn't. Someone they would be attracted to even if they weren't in OG's body.
I can't blame them because in many rofan that's basically the premise. MC gets into OG's body (usually a villainess or mob) and because they act completely different from OG, usually being "nice to others, intelligent, brave" and overall the type of the romantic interest, they and the others who used to dislike OG start to like them and they have their "happy ending". Basically, be better and become someone else (change your personality) and people will like you.
On that point I can't blame her because MC is in fact better than OG and have a different personality (is someone else inside). You might think that those are not the same. They really are not, but they are similar. The worst an action comic male MC can be is the "weak patetic loser", the equivalent to rofan is a female MC that is "annoying, dumb, ill mannered, lovefool bish". The main difference is that maleMC have a "higher objective" and doesn't care about how people around them feel about their change. Which is exactly the opposite of femaleMc, who needs to change the feelings of the people around her so they help her reach that objective instead.
Feels manipulative no? Yeah. I lost count of how many times I wished they got possessed and became strong enough that they wouldn't need to care and accommodate to everyone around like those maleMCs and just... fricked up those that deserve it and just "power through'ed" to their objective instead.
Sorry it got long... I'm not trying to make you like her, I dislike her too. Just really giving a view on why I don't hate her as much. But gosh I wish they left romance out of i...t most of times it's just used for ego and fanservice anyway... just hint at it and leave it for the end after MC got their objective instead... u.u

Incoming YAP session (I read it all ). Lowk, I can understand where your point is coming from but I just can’t bring myself to hate them less. I get that the mc is usually a different soul and shit but most of the old personalities have reason as to why they’ve turned into the person they were, but it could’ve changed if the people around MC (usually the same people around the usual body) prevented it (my opinion).
Also the fiancées are some of the most cold hearted people known to man. Like, to some extent I understand leaving a man because you don’t want to be in a political marriage with someone you deem as “weak”. BUT, it’s when they have the audacity to come back that pisses me off.
To everyone around MC, they think that the owner of the body just changed and they don’t realize it’s another person. That’s why I hate most of them and feel bad for the original owner often because they became liked after being replaced </3

Just remember that it's not just a political marriage to someone weak... it's the rest of their life like... if MC hadn't gotten into that body and she married OgMC... she'd most certainly end up k!lled with him... and her family would probably take a hit because of it too... there's no way his siblings would let her be and just go for him...

I usually feel bad for OgMCs from all kinds of "possessor" transmigrators for the same reason... it's especially bad with the transmigrated into villainesses trope... they are usually mistreated and abused in some way to end like that... and them MC comes and everyone starts liking them as if her behavior was the problem and not the abuse...

But it's actually a "choose a wife" banquet so he can met many women and marry... idr exactly how it went but he learns of it and just choose a bunch cuz he doesn't really want the trouble of picking a wife? I mean... how not to when 90% of good action comics are... destroyed by the romantic subplot? Like... I can understand 2-3 girls/women falling for a bad@ss mc... but... more than that? And them "sharing" mc "peacefully"? Heck no! And when there's "no romance" they mean mc is not interested in romance... but all the women around him are ambiguously into him. And in some there's only women around him. A sword? Is a she. A pet? Is a she. A guy? Is a she crossdressing. A fricking homunculus/robot? She. And worse... I gor spoiler in one of my reads that the little girl mc end up having to raise, and that do calls him papa... is disgustingly one of his future wives (wives, plural). How not be mad at that???? How not to flip the table and cuss out the author for effing up a good plot?
And I won't lie and say female targeted romance is much better... I'll be honest. I read them and I'm only there for the revenge and pretty (handsome cof guys) art... because those sheets can be toxic af. From abusive relationships to fauxcest to grooming to all kinds of red flags... I've seen them all... most romance in comics in general sųcks... and honestly, I can point many comic names and why not read them... I have 2 lists, meh with comics that are not bad but not good and nope which comics I think could be buried in chernobyl.
