I knew what I was getting myself into lol I just wanted to point something out:
This is why I’m always cautious about starting older mangas and being careful not to get too invested in the characters when it comes to old manga. For whatever reason, I guess back then cheating was very normalized to the point it was common to be put in stories. It’s crazy how casual they add cheating and violence and toxic situations and then just move on. Literally the story makes it seem as if the MC’s family and friends are the weird ones for being RIGHT and calling out how she should break up with him and that he’s trash. It makes me think these mangaka’s who wrote stuff like this and resolve it like it’s nothing, are like the mc’s themselves and trying to just cope with how badly they may have been treated. Trying to romanticize the entire relationship so it would make them feel less dumb for sticking to it.
