I mean, sometimes rape comes with the territory. If a story deals with this topic (forced prostitution, sex trade etc.), rape is to be expected, one way or the other. It may be a hard read, but it unfortunately is a part of this particular industry.
At least here the rape is a) justified (it's not just there because) and b) it isn't the ML, that is the rapist, while simultaneously pretending to 'love' the MC.

It's not like others where rape is glorified or just ignored.
In the prostitution, this is a hard reality.
