Cause as you say even if the 18 yo mc spawn in 8 yo child body, 1) the body is still a child and 2) mc is still mentally older. So still "grooming " whichever way ur looking at lol (is it less worse if uke gets groomed instead of seme getting groomed??) plus we are not sure how long exactly current mc gets to be with ml, since he gets killed when ml is still a child im pretty sure he might get killed soon, the death flags been risen and someone said there 35 chptrs and within that time mc already reincarnate and reunited with the Prince already..so yeah it wont be long. But as i mention before the double standard of older uke vs older seme is wild lol the age gap isnt going anywhere, so was the reincarnation really necessary?

Uke’s looking like children happens quite often. I don't know if it's because the authors have never encountered gay men before (twinks are still grown ass men, they don’t resemble kids at all) or some other reason. Even that is kinda okay, I can tolerate it. But the whole age gap thing? It's just downright weird to me.

I mean rn its not grooming. We do not know if anything is going to happen prior to MC death before reincarnation. And I also wanna know if you know whether or not MC will even have memories? If he does not have memories i don't think it is bad per se. As of rn they do not have a romantic relationship. Grooming requires some sort of intent to build a trusting relationship innapropriately, it isnt just always this way any time there is an age gap- though i do not think it is appropriate either, i also dont think its appropriate to even assume such at this point as ML is literally 8 and we can see that there is nothing going on but literal bug catching.
Irl yes it is almost this way in which grooming is evident but this is a fictional universe where we know how mc is actually thinking and its not "how can i get ML to trust me"
We will have to wait. Yall are jumping to conclusions when literally nothing has happened yet and we do not know the details of the future chapters in full. If and when the current relationship becomes innapropriate we can dig it up at that time.

Oh nah I reallllyyy hope the MC doesn't reinarnate into a literal child although we already know he will be twinkified. I agree it would have been nice to have a beefy bottom but ig a point of self consciousness for MC was NOT being that way when others like him are "supposed" to look that way, thus he wanted to be that way- and it could possibly make ML dislike the twinks.. therefore author is trying to create this type of hate to love dynamic after reincarnation. Still if the gap is an <20 yr old with ML in his 30s i will be peacing out
He IS a CHILD, since the MC is 18 and they mentioned the prince was born 8 years ago which means he is an 8 year old CHILD and that there is an 10 year age gap between them
