YESSSS!!! I agree! I’ve read so many mangas where the top usually saves the bottom from danger or from getting r*ped and has s*x with them in order to “claim” then back. I’ve always found that disgusting in a way but seeing seong rok caring for Jeoh and just comforting him instead was so refreshing to me!
Right! It heals me. I needed that so bad. I hate those “claim/purify” tropes where the ml has sex with them after they were just raped. Like they are probably in pain or terrified. Just hold them.
I wrote another message but these are the things I love about this chapter. I love the fact that seong rok didn’t have sex with Jeoh right after Jeoh was raped. I love that it showed that that kid held Jeoh right after he was raped. I love that Seong rok crushed that rapists balls. I love that Seong rok took them to a place where they could be alone and held him then let him know he could cry after Jeoh tried to hold it in for so long. I loved that Jeoh felt comfortable to cry and talk about his feelings in front of Seong rok. And last but not least I love that Seonh rok caringly cleaned Jeoh up and layed him in bed so he could sleep. Ugh I love these guys. Death to those that hurt these beautiful babies. That line when Jeoh was crying and saying he’s basically still a prostitute broke my heart.
