Haven't read the novel if it has any but it's hopefully free of romance?
I totally feel yah. I come for action and they force feed romance to you and often they don't put it on the genre tag. I would specifically search for romance if I want romance!! There's a TON of romance out there I want my action genre to mainly focus on the action and adventure part. Plus they usually make the female characters clingy, blushing outta no where like a baboon's butt, always wearing clothes like they're running outta fabric while the male characters are all fully clothed well, annoying and always want attention, damsels in distress, always need protection, etc.
I don't know what's going on with the authors but 95%+ of action titles out there always turns into a joke because of the harem vibes shit.
I can't count how many I raged dropped.
If they want to have a successful romance in an action genre at least make the female character someone who knows how to protect themselves and make sure that the romance part comes way way way at the end, like the last chapter or a side story at least they won't lose readers at the beginning, mid, climax of the book lmao

idk if this reply will ever be read cause mangago deletes? my replies idk why maybe it's always so long? haha
but yeah like empress said. It's a scam gacha pull with 0.0001% of a work without romance ever appearing. You're happy to see a story that doesn't have romance in the tag? In the middle of the story? BOOM! jump scare *romance* jump scare to be precise.
My only advice is to always prepare for disappointment. Don't even entertain the thought of the story not having romance cause 9.99 out of 10... there is romance. Action, slice of life, seinen, shounen, josei, shoujo, historical, sci-fi. Every single genre.
Because romance (and romance subplot) is the only element most authors use to try to spice up their work and they call it done. Keyword: try and most fail miserably at it. They either write a wholly unlikeable female character just to try to make her "different", make the male character the most dorito looking man with the same personality template, or just simply throw all these kinds of women at male MC to at least retain the male audiences. They're basically just accessories at this rate.
No, I don't know how to write a book nor do I want to write my own book. So what? A reader can't give their own opinion? People can like and dislike different things.
Me? I'm just tired of all the romance. It feels so overused at this point. It feels like accidentally drinking stagnant water.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE reading romance. GOOD romance. Not ones without soul or common sense. And this might just be me being petty but I don't like being deceived. Yes, this is a pirate website but isn't the genre there to tell what's to be expected in what you're gonna read? Pirated or not. Just please tell me if there's romance or romance subplot in this action story and we wouldn't feel so pissed knowing it halfway through.
The difference between an action with and without romance? Let's see...
1) No distractions to the plot
2) No fanservice stuff like p4ntyshots and clotheless women
3) No icky blushing at every single panel when they're together. Like seriously? even while both of y'all are in a life and death situation doesn't mean you need to procreate rn to leave yo v1tch4ss genes
4)The MC doesn't lose brain cells.
Name any manhwa, manga or manhua without romance!
Any genre, just no romance or romance subplot cause I'm stuffed full of romance that I didn't even ask for and even specifically blocked when searching in the genre section
