I can't see that ending happily. That guy needs to go to prison. And that other guy needs serious therapy because he has one baaaad case of Stockholm Syndrome.

Haha, people have been debating on what would constitute as a happy ending for this. That would definitely be the best ending for me.

My happy ending would involve Sangwoo, Bum or both dying. It'd also be nice if Seungbae can prove Sangwoo murdered his family and countless outhet

Does it really count as Stockholm syndrome cuz bum fell in love with the dude before knowing he is crazy, and still sort of stayed in love with him. But the dude fell in love with the captive which is the bum

I never agreed with the view that stockholm syndrome or lima syndrome was occuring for Bum or Sangwoo. I think it could be considered Stockholm syndrome if Bum any way justified the abuse (i.e. blaming himself for it or saying it's not Sangwoo's fault) but he hasn't done that yet. I also think Bum stays with Sangwoo because he's given up of leaving not because he wants to stay like many victims of Stockholm syndrome. Technically it could still become Stockholm syndrome even though Bum fell in love with him before being captured. Then it would be similar to trauma bonding in domestic violence relationships.
