What was initially?

She and the mage got separated. Keira was sent to a forest. In that forest, there are some demons mimicking some humans and told her that they came from the human world. Keira followed them because the forest was so dark (it was pitch dark).
They gave her a bowl of stew…then later on she learned that the stew contained some human meat. They were planning to eat her so they drugged her food and put her in a room. Perhaps because of her power she wasn’t affected much. In that room, she saw some dark red stains (dried blood), she thought it was paint at first but when she peaked outside her room.
She saw them, still awake in the middle of the night, cooking something. Then she saw them put some human limb. She keeps retching after learning that she ate some human meat…then she escaped…then they hunted her (with their bodies twisted)…then the mage found her
I hope they keep this changed and dont put it cause ew
I’m kinda glad that they changed a little bit of this part from the novel. (▰˘◡˘▰)
