Maybe the cigerette was a different type not like the ones we usually smell. Maybe similar to a e cug smell

There are cigarettes with menthol in them which can make them smell and taste like f.e. cherries, strawberries or like mint, whatever u like! There’s still the smell and taste of the actual cigarette tho :)
