Honestly idk if it's just me but most Korean BL webtoons dont seem to portray emotions on such a raw level like Japanese BL mangakas do

because most korean manhwa artists are a bunch of dick riders who only follow trends with no soul of heart in it. i feel like mangakas just publish whatever they want lmfao and look good doing it

Lol harsh truth but agreed... It's unfortunate that people just eat that soulless stuff up. People don't upload jp BL as much as they used to these days.

Thank you for the unexpected laugh. The water in my mouth almost took me out. There are some manhwas (there are some gems out there) that I like but at times they make it boring since their repetitive and is it weird to say sometimes I miss the lack of color? Actually, some of the Yaoi manhwas that I read remind me of early 2000s manga. Funny enough I find Manhua (especially Chinese novels) more interesting than Manhwas only if the translation didnt suck, Chinese censorship, and if the adaption process picks good novels to make into manhua.
    Manga -- Manhua--- Manhwa

haha no problem. not weird at all, and i feel the same about manhuas LOL they have slowburn down to an art at this point, they can feel more indepth and their thought processes and stuff plus, the art is just beautiful.. something manga also has DOWN. fitting in more within 6 chapters than manhwa can do in 60 chapters (ahem). also, speaking of danmeis which I also LOVE and honestly prefer to their drawing counterpart, “your distance” and “guide on how to fail at online dating” are masterpieces

Totally understand.. that's why I find myself coming back to Mangas everytime. And it's amazing how a story that seems so simple makes me feel all these emotions that manhwas fail to bring
