This was a great read but I got sooo annoyed on the part where his colleague (or whoever she is) was being so nosy about his business. Like gurl? do you know boundaries?? Regardless of his lie about having a girlfriend he doesn’t owe you an explanation as to why he rejected your friend. It’s your friend’s problem if she decided to not give up yet. He doesn’t have to explain himself (to both of you) further.

    like, they're co-workers not even friends. it's his private life, he doesn't owe both of them any clarification. i was so pissed off when i reread this part
