He was jealous and angry because maomao didn't get why Jinshi gave her a new hairpin ,that hair pin was thst she belong to him but instead maomao danced with a other man and he got angry and was choking her but she French kissed him to lose his grip. Thst how there first kiss was . Maomao left Jinshi speak less after there French kiss. Later on jinshi distant himself from her later on he changed alot towards her and later on she start having feeling for him. Now they together and maomao loves him and want to be with him. But there his a obstacle right now jinshi becoming Emperor and he doesn't want it because his wish is marry maomao and be free
