No worries. It is possible though. Thoroughout history there are examples of some King/Emperors being figure head. Also, the background hasn't been mentioned here in summary. The thing is the prince's father died, and the Duke took over power. I think the Prince being young and an omega might have played a part in it too. Then the Duke forced the Prince to imprint him to make sure the power stays in his hand.
