No what I mean is, since Oscar gave her the gun he inherited(?) In her first life and when Raul saw it he said that he didn't, he probably lied because it was him who originally inherited it. He probably said that he didn't see it because she was so happy to get the gun and would feel sad to know that Oscar took the gun Raul inherited and gave it to her.
Carcel didn’t want to make it obvious that he suggested giving it to Ines. I suppose he was being bashful and since she was engaged/married to Oscar at that point anyway why would she need to know? It’s not like his feelings for her would’ve changed anything so he kept it to himself.
