HAH i’m so glad i’m not the only who thought both of them dying would be the best ending. During the last chapter I was seriously secretly hoping that Do-hyeok would get hit by a car in a moment of emotional turmoil and Siwoo would kill himself on his own accord afterwards. But it seems like the author has plans for adding more to their story so I’m happy with waiting for 10 years for it to get fully released and translated •(ᵒωᵒ*•)
I can relate to the side note tho. Like I never touched the main story
When Siwoo catches Do-hyeok around the corner, he kisses the guy who confessed to him to let Do-hyeok know that he doesn’t want to be involved with him anymore. As he kisses the guy with his eyes open, Do-hyeok runs across the busy road and gets hit by a car. Siwoo pushes the guy he was kissing away and runs to Do-hyeok’s unconscious body. Siwoo’s scarf that Do-hyeok was planning to give back to him is bloodied around his neck while wrapped around in his lifeless hands as though he was clutching on the scarfi. Siwoo regrets kissing the guy and stays with Do-hyeok’s unconscious body until the ambulance takes him away. Siwoo visits him everyday for six months and moves away to another country. [Time skip to 12 years later] Siwoo is in a restaurant and sees a glimpse of a mesmerizing painting. He looks closer and sees a signature that reads “Do-hyeok”. Siwoo’s heart aches, although it’s been 12 years he still hasn’t gotten over the incident. But why is there a Korean artist’s painting in [insert undecided foreign country]? Siwoo asks the restaurant owner about the artist of the painting and I’m tired of writing now.
side note: I think the reason I liked the side story so much was because I didn’t read the main story LOL
