I feel like the author left out the fact that the Eastern culture (where he got exiled) values and respects the commoners and tries to make them feel comfortable around people of the higher class unlike the empire. Not sure why because it’s been mentioned a couple times, and the empire genuinely treats commoners like sh1t. It would have been quite nice seeing him come back as someone with a more modern lens on the class system and doing more in the empire to help the commoners out like Chloe and the duke.
This was such a cute story, very focused on tea which bothered me a first but now I really want to learn how to male teas, since there seems to be more to it than I originally thought lolll. AND THEIR DAUGHTER!!!! She's so adorable!!!
I do wonder what became of the prince, and his exile was meant for 5 years, so shouldn't he back by the time we meet Eva?
