I think I understand what you mean. There was no realistic obstacles or criticism that the couple faced for being gay and doing sexual work, or, rather, any obstacles at apparent obstacles at all.

Errrr Idk…. I felt like it was romanticizing gay relationships and gay people bc what the fuck was the work they were doing, not saying the author did a bad a job or that I’m upset with it just a little disappointed with the story, and the side stories were weird for sure… just my opinion tho…
