Because the MC is a self-insert of the author. It’s sort of obvious if you notice they both have the same name. Also I think maybe it’s because she acts like a mary sue

But is that a bad thing? I don't think it matters much and Jelack doesn't feel like a Mary Sue to me, maybe with her eye before but she's pretty normal to me She's a typical MC imo
