Can’t be 100% sure, but I believe he’s counting his past experience as well
pretty sure it includes the past because if it was just the current he'd be pretty young
If I remember correctly - not 100% certain - his body just got transported back in time. At that epoch he was most likely a child or not even born. So he's the age he was in the future, plus maybe an unknown number of months in training
Sorry if this is a stupid question , but is he 29 counting his past life experience , or just 29 in the new timeline ?
