That's why I'm glad Annette is ripping Henry a new one. "You all had a daughter of the house before I came here. No one else knows what a girl even is except for you. Why did you discard her so easily?"
And for real, Henry. You were her only lifeline in that house and you didn't see for a second how hard it would have been to admit you found out you weren't related? I know you were hurt, bro, but maybe wait longer than 24hrs for a transition like this.
But also, Annette noticed a wall between her and her mom. Both sets of parents understood something was up but couldn't quite "get rid of the problem." Annette's dad walked out on the family and if it weren’t for Henry, Anna's parents would have straight up gotten rid of her. Annette's family may have wanted her because of how much she contributed to the household (and the youngest ones know no better) but I have a feeling they will change their tune about Anna when she uses her strengthening/cleaning magic or even her cooking skills to make that food a bit more palatable.
Okay, I know it's my own comment. But I found the link to the raws a bit farther down posted by one kind stranger [spoilers]

aaaaaannnd it has changed my opinion on Annette. The parents are still crap (except for the seamstress=MVP) and Henry seems to have stuck to the no contact he put into place so for now, he's still a big emotional turncoat. Eduardo is love at first sight so he's too legit to quit. Anna is in the best position at this point.
Turn away all thee tender hearted.

Okay, so Anna ends up opening a cafe and it becomes a bit popular, enough for Annette to know where it is. See, Annette has never felt more lonely in her life in her new situation because she also comes to the realization that the only one who cared about Anna was her brother. Thus, she is only a welcomed replacement for a daughter no one wanted. After she calls them out on it, she becomes very closed off.
So much so that when she goes to the cafe (I forget why she wanted to,) she tests Anna's integrity a bit, has her tea, and leaves. As she is leaving, the younger brothers she grew up with show up and she refuses to acknowledge them at all. The poor boys end up bawling their eyes out.
It's been a minute since I read it and my Japanese isn't quite up to par but that's what I remember and why I changed my opinion. There may even be more chapters posted by now.
Aw what :( maybe Annette did that cause she knew she wouldn’t be able to come back (in a sense). There’s a lot of stories that follow that trope where they act rude or mean because hating them would make it easier to move on from them. Idk maybe I’m reading too much into this hahah cause I don’t want her to be bad.
Feels like nobody wants Anna ,not the commoners nor her nobel family
On the other hand everyone wants Annette
