Like I get what you're feeling but did you miss the part where Yuu says he remembered it all wrong and Kenji never did actually assaulted him as a child?
I'm not defending Kenji because the whole thing caught me off guard and threw me off the whole time but even Yuu himself was being an unreliable narrator for his trauma. The story is very clear on how their fault with each other is that Kenji had very diabolical feelings for a boy, and a child at that and he couldn't move on from that. Yuu unconsciously blames Kenji for "raping" him to which we now know around chapter 3 that he actually didn't and he remembered it wrong but he wanted to blame something or anything that turned him gay to which according to himself, ruined his life so that's just how he copes with it.
So we're not gonna acknowledge the fact that he got raped as a child by someone older than him, sure they were both technically children but child on child SA is so common and as someone who's a victim of it I felt so disgusted and sick seeing how the author just romanticized the shit out of it.
Yes you can be hypersexual due to the trauma, you might even think your kinks date back to it but it's fcking trauma mate!! This was aweful I'm sorry
