now that I've reread it, why did naraku try to capture kagome and force her to make a wish like how the pearl wanted in the last arc? His real wish can't be granted anyway so why bother?
If kagome make a wish the cycle of the jewel will repeat ,and naraku will be reborn again,
As kagome grandfather says If you wish the right wish the jewel will be disappeared forever. So kagome wish is the jewel will gone forever so the cycle of will not repeated again.
ahh how nostalgic :)) I remember waiting every chapter to come out, saving little pocket money to buy the manga :))
also this is probably the only manga where I can tolerate a two timer and a lecherous man haha :)))
