those bad translations ruin the story. Instead of wasting their time ruining a story, those machine-translated translators should just spend their free time learning the actual language and come back when they know they are good at it. some of them tell us they are sorry about the bad translation, but they are not sorry at all.
I do agree it ruins the story. Then why don't you pay to read the official translation? If there is of course, but you could also sponsor known scanlation group to do one for you. My point is, they were doing it for free, and the least you could do or say is "Thank you for trying to translate this, though it could use some proofreading here and there." I don't understand what's hard on saying thank you? It's just a simple thank you. Imagine if you say that to an individual and they actually felt appreciated and do some improvements in their translation? That instead of guiding them to the right way, they will just feel demotivated and start hating doing something they like and abandon it all over.
Be it a good or bad translation, (I know sometimes it gives you headache) but some are translated by an INDIVIDUAL who spends their own free time in translating these to English and the least you can do, as a free reader is to be grateful. Even if they use a machine to translate it, they spent time working on it. If you can't help but give your opinion, at least let it be beneficial to the translator, a constructive criticism, and not just whining like a bitch in heat.
ps. I'm not a translator, I just find it fascinating that someone willingly spends their time translating stories for free and all they get is nonsense complain
