nah for real. idk if we're talking about the same thing but i really noticed this in one certain chapter. a guy is alone, laying down in some alley at night when it's pouring rain outside and the mc considers helping him but then goes "but what if i catch a BL flag?" like bro that person outside could've been in trouble but instead of helping him you're thinking of your BL flag? are you fr? (thankfully his not braindead bro comes in and just... calls the police, which is something mc would've thought to do if he wasn't neck deep in yaoi denial land).
in another chapter he sees a bag (with chocolate i believe) on his desk and thinks "if i take it i'll get yaoied" and doesn't take it. what he didn't realise was that this was left by a GIRL who was interested in him. like mc is so obsessed with BL flags and how to avoid them that he forgets the people around him aren't NPCs and actually have thoughts, lives etc.
That would be such an interesting premise to explore more in this manga and isekai mangas!
right? i doubt this manga will delve too deep into that, if at all, but i think it's an interesting idea. i'm sure there are some book/manga/novel that have already explored this concept, if you do know of any let me know!

ALRIGHT so he really be trying hard to run away from the BL but the BL chases him and he believes that this BL world has no bad endings s he doesn't feel too bad about doing what he does sometimes but.......I would love to see him suffer consequences and open his eyes to see that he is running away from nothing!!!!
