Even the going back home like one or two chapters. She went back home, saw the queen's body, her father blew her off, her mother bad an emotional breakdown, and then she went home. And then shortly after, she gew depressed about possibly being infertile and not telling Gray. But two panels later, the 9th Prince tells her about the duel and she runs to the arena. Like.....all of it happened as if we're seeing a summary or an abridged version of the story playing out on two pages--jumping from one situation to the next. We can't stay on one situation and maybe solve or at least let it play out from a few chapters.
Idk how I feel about the “fake princess” thing being resolved so easily, followed by the “I’m insecure because there’s a love rival” plot twist.. tbh I dislike a love triangle but I wish the author had at least committed.. instead it felt like love fodder..
