They have, 2nd season is just about them, it just follows on from the 1st one and we have a context for our beloved Seonwoo, who he was before Tae-seo.
I like it bc usually when the MC is a bad person, they just tell us ,,well he did this and this and that's why he was a bad person" but we don't care, bc their victims are just random NPCs.
I wish the side couple had their own story :/ I think I would’ve been more interested in them if they did.
