Yeah, I think so too. He’s slowly regaining his unwanted memories where he had to use his body to survive, but I’m kinda surprised there hasn’t been anything about his father. Hopefully we get to see how he copes all the good and bad memories in a positive way.
On my fourth reread rn, and each time I have more understanding for these characters, I think that ryeong knew how Paljae felt about him through their travels together it’s hard to deny, but him becoming bigger is making it all more real. Munryeong is also suffering from scattered memories that he only began to remember when around paljae so all of that’s leading to a panic of unfamiliarity cause he doesn’t know where his emotions or nausea is coming from. But as you can see he only slapped Palgae’s hand and told him not to touch him when he confessed his love despite all the more raunchy things they did prior, is because with his new resurfacing memories, I think he’s remembering the people who claimed to “love” him and proceed to rip him apart and take everything from him despite that.
