I do think Rowena suffers from romantic doormat syndrome. She’s written as being a lot stronger and wary at her base by this point in the story, but if Killian doesn’t genuinely change and repent, there’s no possibility of getting them back together. The author dumbs down her personality whenever he’s around because of “love” or whatever. It’s more shoddy writing than an actual character flaw, because if you look at her other behaviors and thought processes, the way she reacts to him doesn’t make sense according to the rest of her personality
I ditched this story when there were only 15 chapters..and I just come here every once in a while.....and I know that she gonna leave him in the end.... Which is great.... But, literally girl..... Iff I knew that someone probably killed my child I would've burxxd him alive.... But, not everyone can do that as everyone has different mindset of a situation.... But, girl being naive to the point where it only benefits others is also wrong...... Seriously.... And yeah the ones who is liking the Duke cuz he's sorry .... Like seriously guys..... He didn't became someone better he just now choosed to be kind to her.... Cuz, enlightenment of one's wrong doing ain't like that at all.... He is still fuxxing evil... The only difference is that he now removed her from the list of someone who is equivalent to the stone on the road.... ... Guess, am really triggered but what can I say... It's just frustrating to see how one's view of someone changes just cuz they r now sorry.... No, that just the bare minimum what actu6 matters as to how he changed his view of the world as he understand the situations of others .... Like here ml failed to do so as how he behaved towards the blonde.... Like what u hate the fact that she is loved my someone, which still shows his possessiveness..... Aaaaahhh.... Guess I have said 2 much.... But, this fact irrates me a lot and also made me quit a lot of stories like that story where she is a poor Duchess and he is not nobel but rich ... ..... ╥﹏╥
