I hope this doesnt turn into Yours to claim where it’s got so much going on and also nothing going on. I hope this is some kind of turning point for these two for the sake of plot if season one is really going to end in the 30’s. Our MC was so flaccid during this encounter which I actually commend the artist for illustrating and focusing on with his panels because there is no doubt he did not want that. But at the same time, what was he expecting? For his friend to be gentle? I hope the chapters dive in on where a lot of this miscommunication originates- I’m still thinking it was the brother or whomever the kid is that’s haunting MC’s memories. Like, did ML get it twisted all those years ago that his feelings were invalid or he was just meant to be a degenerate? Did the people around him fail him? And we still don’t know how MC got tangled up with Mafia Daddy and what that relationship is. I really hate that we’re going in circles between these two acting on feelings, getting scared, then acting on feelings, etc. I also have a hard time imaging what end game actually looks like for these two because with some other red flags, we see development/ borderline Stockholm syndrome ( code name anastasia). Lastly, the artist needs to get consistent with mole placement and how soft they were drawing MC, but those are just complaints :-)
