I wish they added a betrayal arc and more cute scenes, but I guess it makes sense because HeeJae is literally head over heels in love with Seyeong.
There's no proper explanation on character backstories coming back to haunt them. There is a bit, but not as much as there needs to be to draw the story out longer and make it feel complete.
