I think you mean rare only in manhwa before, Red flag MLs have existed since decades ago lol. A few examples would be from manga, where back then cheating was so excused and normalized. If you read a manga from the 90s the chances of the ML having cheated once but still ending up with the MC, is high. Which is why people check the comments for spoilers whenever reading old manga lol.
