I agree, I thought so too, but I think the author will manage to change the minds of many readers in the end. Some will get stuck on the 1st impression of Jk and will not accept tho.
it’s gonna be like in BJ alex, there alex wasn’t THAT bad (we was but not as awful as JK) so i understand why people looked over alex past. but i truly can not ever imagine a redemption arc that will make his action slightly less awful
