tbh i can forget about it if its a good redemption and most importantly depending how mean they were in the beginning ( like if they were physically abusive im never satisfied at the end no matter what came after ) i think peoples opinions on what they like or are ok with in stories differ
Authors make their tops shitty because they want them to have a redemption (which they think will magically make the reader like them again) but the shittier you make them, the more the readers will hate them even after redemption
