But I also get why seme is showing such behaviour

For all he knows, uke just kissed him while drunk and ignored him the day after. Making him feel used up and played with. (I know it wasn't his intention, but the seme doesn't know it yet)
He's been dragged around by uke (again, it's just seme's perspective, not my opinion) and now he's suddenly got a confession. So it's only natural for him to be anxious about the same thing happening again and him being ignored for a few more years.
Anyway, I think this is the reason behind his stupid actions. But it's nothing that can't be fixed with a little conversation. He hasn't said or done anything harmful yet.
I think not more than year and a half passed since that drunk kiss on trip. And I think that the author is clumsy. That drunk kiss that we readers intuitively regard as some major moment, I think author just left behind with no further deep plans.
im assuming that the conversation that they had regarding their feelings to one another after they finally confessed includes details about the drunken kiss as well since that IS a big moment for them? idk
he would be in jail if it were me. the mc doesn't even do anything that warrants this level of possessiveness
