How is it logical? She suspects him to be the killer, no well, she’s already set on it, without any motive or proof
She should not have even worked on court if she just blindly believes him to be the killer just from one paragraph of the novel intro. It was literally her job to find the truth and serve justice. She acts as if the prime suspect is already guilty with no proof. Suspects often get framed y'know? Logical? Yeah right... No wonder the justice system sucks cuz unfortunately many ppl like her who blindly follow circumstancial evidences without digging deep enough works as law enforcers.
