Not blaming just saying MC should've left the ML's sorry ass to self-loathe by himself and gone to comfort after the exams...I have skipped/failed exams in my university life for someone before, regret it very much and just saying not worth it...comforting can come after an exam/important part of one's career as one's career also affects the partner's life...in this story's case, I don't get why MC puts up with this shit,it's not his duty to be hurt to protect a grown-ass man's ego
It is true MC should put his education above ML. Actually really anything should come before ML. ML literally only uses MC to vent
