Not everyone likes harems either. I hate harems but I like a good solid romance like in “Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God” or in “Legend of the Northern Blade”
I like romance either but at least they should focus more on action and story and when everything is fine romance could enter. Also when you show interest to someone you don't have show that kind of face like the teacher shows, thinking that made me disgust. Idk if there are other meaning to that but even when mc was around 20s or 30s when he died he's still on a childs body.
I often only see romance haters in yaoi sites though.

Umm literally every fantasy stories are like this? Even Naruto was like this, even Hunter x Hunter have literal adult female characters crushing on Gon and hes a freaking child. Even fantasy novels are like this. Theres always girls lurking about crushing on the mc. This isnt even considered romance, its just the authors way of emphasizing their characters attractiveness and building interpersonal relationship. Youre the one who shouldnt be reading adventure and fantasy, because adventure and fantasy stories have always been like this. Go read slice of life or something.

Naruto literally have Hinata stalking him, and Naruto literally likes Sakura and Sakura literally likes Sasuke since the very beginning of the story. Naruto characters are literally crushing on each other since they were kids, this is actually more tame in terms of romance than with Naruto? None of the characters even talks about liking the mc, they only blush. Mc even stated himself that he doesnt wanna involve himself with kids because hes 40 years old mentally. Unlike Naruto were Jiraiya literally drools over Narutos female despite knowing its a kid?
You saying Naruto as an example literally shows you are only affected by the sensitiveness of todays society. Cause you cant even remember Naruto was literally littered with hints of romance through out the whole series.
