I actually kind of wonder like why is he being a bodyguard for SW? And why is he so loyal to them? Did they like do smth for him that I forgot about? I kind of hope that he won’t stay there forever.
Also, pls don’t kill her :(

He went back to live normal life tho. Why the necessity of training and such? And worst case scenario, he can just train with the number as sparring. ag.jjtj

if he went to live his normal life, then where would mercenary come in? the numbers literally had beef with him, how can he train with them if they never liked him. the numbers wouldn’t even have known who he was until he went out on his way to save the lieutenant which caught mad dog’s attention. he also wouldn’t have been able to save the lieutenant if it weren’t for the SW president informing him.

Wdym where would mercenary come in? He originally planned to be ordinary, he didn’t plan to train and meet all those obstacles. Also, he lived as a mercenary for a long time after leaving the numbers. I heavily think that’s why he got better and not SW training that has not a single challenge to him. They did like him before, then they thought he betrayed them, now it’s cleared up and they clearly care about him a lot. He could train with at least some of them (when they were mad there was no need because he didn’t even plan on training this way in the first place). And okay, he informed him, so what? As if Ijin didn’t do 727299282 favors for them afterwards. As we said, whatever debt he had to SW has long been repaid. I would say they are in debt to him if anything.

then what about the doosik? if you’re arguing because there are girls, i understand. but you guys are arguing about how he has to repay SW everytime, but what about doosik? Bamboo

lol I’m agreeing with you. I am tired of the company SW like they caused him so much harm than good.

if he planned to live ordinarily, the titled and plot wouldve been something different. if you stopped doing something for a awhile, you dont just suddenly get better. the SW training did help and the numbers are in hiding, they can't just call up ijin to train whenever they like. SW provides the resources and ultimately he decides how he goes forward with it. Just like with the "gangster" doosik, why does he keep helping him despite repaying him already?

I’m not talking about title or plot right now, I’m talking about original plans of the character. What Ijin was planning to do. And the title doesn’t have anything to do with being a bodyguard, so it wouldn’t have to be necessarily about that. Yeah if you stopped you don’t suddenly get better, he probably got better because of his time as a mercenary. SW helps him keep his skills at the current level if anything. You don’t get better if you have nothing challenging for you. It’s like, you aren’t going to get stronger if you only ever lift 10kg and never go heavier. You will keep your strength at 10kg, but u won’t suddenly be able to lift 20. There is no one who matches Ijin’s skills even closely at SW. How he trains at SW, he could probably train at numerous other places. And Dooshik and him just simply seem to be friends right now. What resources SW provides, you could also argue the same about how much they pay him, that that’s the reason he stays there. But Ijin doesn’t seem to care too much about that? He doesn’t even plan rn on officially applying there for a job yet.

Wdym? And who mentioned girls? What about them? (Tho tbh it’s very disappointing that they went with typical writing for female characters for this kind of story. Like besides the special agent ones, they are... ag.jjtj

You can argue however much you want that SW is useful or whatever for Ijin, that’s your opinion. For me (and the other person as it seems) it makes no sense for Ijin to still work there. He repaid them thousand of times, they owe him now. His extreme loyalty makes no sense, and solving issues of billionaires only puts his close ones in danger as well. It’s becoming boring to be frank. As well as all the female characters related to SW fawning over him. I wish plot focused more on him and the numbers than some random attachment to a big corporation. I know what plot is about, and I’m saying that for me it doesn’t make sense and I personally would prefer for his bodyguarding to be a temporary part, and not his fixed job. Again, it just doesn’t make sense to me for him (who doesn’t care about money) to still work there and I think he deserves much better.
