if i remember correctly, the son pf the grandpa ceo (aka the dad of ijin's girl friend in school) was part of the volunteers who showed kindness to ijin when he was a mercenary. ijin saved the dad so he could say his last words properly... ig he just have a soft spot considering that background. i think ijin has a moral compass when it comes to protecting his "clients". altho tbh, his loyalty to some clients can do more harm to him than good, especially as someone who's supposed to be living a regular life now. ijin is getting dragged to the problems his clients have, since he chooses to put himself out there to protect them
FACTS why is he getting in danger so many time for these people. Just in the last chapter that lady sent him to protect her alone. Wtf that pissed me off how are you going to make him protect her by himself with no back up and he was fight 20+ men. It’s disrespectful and it shows they don’t care for him at all
Wdym? And who mentioned girls? What about them? (Tho tbh it’s very disappointing that they went with typical writing for female characters for this kind of story. Like besides the special agent ones, they are all useless and they just exist to fawn over ML. Like story would be literally the same without them, they bring nothing into it. Every time the main romantic interest girl (I hope there will be no romance) is shown she is only shown to simp over Ijin. Nothing else. I wish they wrote female characters, even not the super badass ones, with some actual personality and depth).
I actually kind of wonder like why is he being a bodyguard for SW? And why is he so loyal to them? Did they like do smth for him that I forgot about? I kind of hope that he won’t stay there forever.
Also, pls don’t kill her :(
