I'm a japanese descendant, but I live in South America and here is also common knowledge that if you dream with teeth it means bad stuff, not that it will necessarily happen to you or your family.
Once I dreamed about it and my mom told me a patient died where she works (an oncology clinic), and it really didn't mean much for me, just the usual cancer-sucks thoughts...
So, don't worry too much about dreams, it's not worth it to worry about stuff you don't even know how, when or even if will happen.

Here in the Caribbean we also have that superstition, that if your teeth fall out, someone close to you is going to die, my grandmother even told me that each teeth represent a specific person, for example if your incisors were to fall out then that would mean your parent/s are going to die... creepy right
but i don't believe in those superstition, ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ in fact, i've had dreams of my teeth falling out before and nobody died (well maybe some relationships lol)

But what if someone did die but u just didn't know them like u we're gana meat them in the future but then u didn't because they died lol idk what I'm saying anymore (〜￣△￣)〜
