I think he was originally supposed to be abused by someone, but the author changed it later. Maybe this was the original reason why he always wore the long-sleeved winter uniform.
If I was undertanding it correctly it was from the time that he fought with his cousin when trying to protect his phone, it showed both of them worn out from it
